😌 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗽 | Our rest day today called for frozen fruity drinks by the pool, shopping and dinner at @disneysprings! When they returned to their rooms, our First Responder family received some pixie dust— gifts to make for a special day. ❤️💙🖤
☺️ We build in a Rest Day for our first responder families to take a break for the hustle and bustle of the @waltdisneyworld parks. On these days, families may choose to do resort activities, shop, dine, or just lay by the pool!
🗺️🧭🦓 Today was spent exploring the magic ✨ of nature 🌿🌺 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! We dined on African-inspired cuisine with Mickey and friends, experienced Festival of the 🦁 Lion King, and witnessed the wonders of an open truck safari! So many great memories made.

Friends of the Firsts understand it’s the details that truly matter- making up the most memorable moments of a vacation!

From day-to-day schedules, tips and tricks in the theme parks and at resorts- even helping with snacks and dining reservations, Friends of the Firsts help elevate the experience for our first responder families.

Friends of the Firsts are not only Disney experts, but Disney lovers who can make a connection and relate to members of the first responder community. They stay on-site at the same Walt Disney World Resort as our Rewarding Responder families, and their trips include:

  • Accommodations at a Walt Disney World Resort

  • Theme Park Tickets

  • The Disney Dining Plan for the duration of the trip (or Disney Gift Card equivalent for meals)

  • Round trip airfare

  • Rewarding Responder swag

Friends of the Firsts can pay their own way by a 100% tax-deducible donation to Rewarding Responders, or to fundraise by way of Facebook Fundraiser, also tax-deductible.
